When Mathias and Felix approached me about bringing their book to life, I didn't hesitate for a moment. "Kabul/København - Breve fra livets skæbnestunder" shares the journey of two friends navigating life's complexities from different corners of the world. Set against the backdrop of war, the book delves into their reflections on life, death, politics, literature, and love.

I crafted the book design, cover, and illustrations. I wanted the book to have a personal and intimate touch, so the front and back cover illustrations, along with the 27 vignettes, are all handpainted with black ink. Additionally, each vignette serves as a small teaser to each of the letters.
